The tax season crunch is over!  You’ve gotten most, if not all of your clients signed and sealed.  Now it’s time to finally wind down and de-stress from the heavy workload and just relax a bit.  Here are a few simple but easily forgotten tips to help you lower your blood pressure and just b-r-e-a-t-h-e!

§  Vacation!  Perhaps a three-day weekend is as much time as you can afford to take, but you’d be surprised how much you can relax in just 3 days if you pick a spot or activity you enjoy.

§  Spend family and friend time.  With all the time you spent working you may have discovered that you didn’t have time to be with the people you love and enjoy.  Plan lunch with a friend or family member, or just simply give a call to someone you haven’t spoken with for a while.

§  Exercise.  You were probably too busy during the height of the season to even take a walk.  Take an hour and sign up for that yoga class you’ve been thinking about.  Or take a long walk or hike and take in the scenery.

You’ve earned a high-five for all of your hard work, but you also probably need some much earned down-time too.  Go on – take a breath and relax!
